Happy New Year!!!!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year and ask that you still keep Tommy in your thoughts and prayers along with the rest of the men and women away from home. I want to thank everyone for all they did for Tommy over the holidays and let you know he enjoyed all the boxes he received. Tommy and Damon

Hello everyone, My brother in law is over in Iraq with Tommy and they got to have Christmas lunch together. It is really nice that Tommy got to see family on Christmas. We got to open presents with him on the Web Cam and the kids really enjoyed seeing him, it was the best Christmas gift of the day. I just wanted to reach out and touch him. He'll be home soon for R&R so we now have something to look forward to now the holidays are over.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and thank you all for the support you have given me while Tommy has been gone. And thanks for keeping him in your prayers and thoughts. Talking to Tommy

Well today was a wonderful day, Tommy got to see the kids on the Web Cam for the first time since he left in April and got to watch them open his gifts he sent them. It was wonderful and Tommy and the kids all enjoyed doing it. I think it meant alot to Tommy to see them. I know I've been enjoying seeing him on the Web Cam these past few weeks. I don't know what took us this long to do so. I don't know if we will be talking to him tomorrow for Christmas or not but today made it worth it. He looks real good and it's always a treat to see his big smile. March will be here before you know it. I'm counting down the days until R&R.

Great News

Sorry it's taken me so long to get this news out to you but it's never to late for good news. Tommy made his E8!!! We are both so excited and can't wait for him to pin it on. We don't know when that will be but at least we know he made it.

Kittens

The kids both got a kittens and they are a hand full but fun. Hannah's kittens name is Alley and Jonathan's is Gunner. I will get better pictures of them for you to see. I have been out of taken pictures and need to get back to it and keep this blog up. We are eating breakfast with Santa Saturday morning so hopefully I will get some pictures. We also have a company Christmas party to go to Saturday afternoon which should be fun and more pictures. Tommy is doing good he is staying busy and making the most out of his time. His folks will be here for Christmas which is nice.

Tommy's Thanksgiving

Here are a few pictures Tommy sent me from Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. I talked to him yesterday and today and it was great. He is doing good keeping busy with flights. He flew the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders a few days ago. What a job!

Yesterday was our 15Th Anniversary and Tommy sent me beautiful Roses. I also got Crystal Roses from him in the mail.I didn't even know crystal was for the 15TH year, he is one ahead of me. He made this a great anniversary even though we could not be together. He even called and we got to share a special moment together. Just when life gets you down someone as wonderful as Tommy lifts me up. He really made my day worth it. We were apart but together in spirit and heart. I love you Tommy more then anything else in this world. Thank you for being my husband and best friend. Love you Sara

Grandma was here for two weeks and she left today. We will miss her, it was nice having her here. I took a couple of pictures this morning being going to the airport. Sparky had to join them in some of them. Tommy is doing good, we talked to him Thursday and he is due to call tomorrow. I hope everyone still has him in your prayers. We miss him greatly. Take care

While chatting on line with Tommy he sent me two new pictures of him, one he's with one of his guys. He is doing good. Was in a great mood. Hope all is doing well.

Call

I got a call this morning from Tommy, he is doing good. He is working nights so he called real early. This week went by fast, the kids had a hard time getting back in the swing of things but will adjust soon I'm sure. My mother in law will be here tonight. Looking forward to her visit and so are the kids. Not sure how long she is staying but will welcome her as long as she is here. She is always welcome, the same goes to any of you as well. First day of school

Today is the first day of school the kids were real excited and was happy to be back with friends.

Here's the kids classroom, they have a wonderful teacher Mrs. Barcomb. I really think they will do well and they know most of the kids in their class and some new ones are there as well. They look so cute at the desk with all the books.

Tommy's call

Hey just wanted to tell you all that Tommy called to wish the kids well on their first day of school tomorrow. He was in a good mood and seems to be in good spirits. He's sorry that he wont be here for their first day but there's not much we can do about it. I told him to tell President Bush while he was there that I needed him home more then they need him there. Don't think that would work but I thought it sound good. Another month down another month closer to his R&R. Not soon enough but we will make it. I will post pictures of the kids first day tomorrow. Hey Just wanted to update you all on things here. We are all doing well. Got to chat with Tommy on line today twice so it was a nice day. He sent me some pictures of them being silly. Hope you all enjoy them as much as I did. The kids start school Tuesday, can you believe they are in the third grade already.
