Call from Tommy

Hey there everyone, I just wanted to let you know that Tommy called today and he seems to be doing okay. His thumb is healing nicely and he should not need surgery, which is a good thing. He said it's off alittle so they said he'll have arthritis probably badly later on. He was tired it was late there, we got to talk awhile which was nice. It's always nice to hear his voice. I just wanted to update everyone about his thumb. There is nothing much going on here. We went with another mother and son to the mall to play today and then out to lunch. The kids had a good time. We are planning on going off tomorrow to a museum and I will post pictures once I get them. Take care and we will update you soon. Keep Tommy in your prayers.

The kids went to the dentist today and here are a few pictures of them. They did really good as always and will have to do some work on their teeth but it will be simple stuff. They have alot of things for the kids to do while waiting it really helps with the time.

Talked to Tommy today and he is doing great, he broke his thumb working on the aircraft but said he was doing good. I'm looking forward to R&R but that's not until March but we will make due. Enjoy the blog, I'll post more soon. Love Sara

First Picture of Tommy from Iraq

Hey just wanted to post a picture of Tommy and Timmy that Timmy's wife Irma sent to me today. I got to talk to Tommy this afternoon, it was wonderful! He sound really good and happy as can be. He said it was hot and he was tired. Communication has not been that great lately but it should be getting better now. At least I hope so. He is suppose to call me again on Sunday so I'll let you know if anything comes up. The kids have a birthday party to go to on Saturday so I'll post more this weekend.

Hey everyone, I got to talk to my hubby today and he seemed a little down but I would be also if I had to be in that heat and where he is at. The emails not really working well for him right not so if you could send him a letter in the mail that would be nice. If anyone has emailed him in the past two weeks he has not gotten them due to the blackout. He got to call me because of my mom being in the hospital. Please pray for Tommy's safe return and think of him over there often. He will be home in March for two weeks and then back until August of 08. Time is not god for us,but we will do it just fine.
