Some information from the Storm News letter

CPT Current sent out a July news letter to the families and here are a few things she had in it, as of when I got it two days ago. Storm (for those of you who don't know that's what their company is called) they will officially been there for three months this coming week even though Tommy has been there three months already. The company has flown over 1066 hours carried 374 passengers and hauled over 150,000 pounds of cargo. Tommy recently led an aerial gunnery which went well. This is just how they are spending their days over there so far and that's how they stay so busy. They seem to always have someone flying and on the go. So keep them all in your prayers and wish them a speedy return. Tommy doesn't get much time for the computer and e mailing so he sends his love to all. I'll update in a few days.

Yellow Ribbon Tree

They had made yellow ribbons for the guys during a Walk to Iraq and Back activity and Irma made one for Tommy. I did not attend because we had to put Cali to sleep the day before and it was not a good day for me. But He has a yellow ribbon and the kids were excited to see it. I'm glad she got to make one for him. The tree has a few but needs more added.

Sunday afternoon on River Street

We went down town today and had lunch and went to the candy store. We had a good day. The kids are doing great. Hope everyone is doing fine.

Tommy

Tommy called again yesterday and he said all is going well. He said it was 130 where he was. I know the sun drains you. He calls on Thursdays and Sundays so I will let you know if there is anything different to report. Please keep him and all our soldiers in your thoughts and prayers. He has alot on him and I'm proud to be part of his life to share with him. Only 12 months to go! Just pray they all stay safe and come home together.

Tommy's call

Tommy called today and he sound great! All is well with him and he is working alot. Which is good because it makes time go by faster. I am always happy when I get to hear his voice. He got the Internet and is now able to go on some web sites which is nice because I know he always liked reading the news before going to bed. Maybe I'll get alot more email this way. Well I hope everyone is doing good and staying well. Take care.

Tommy new picture

Tommy sent me a new picture today and he looks good. I got flowers from him yesterday and it was such a nice surprise. They were beautiful! It meant alot to me to get them. Thank you Tommy, I love you.

Summer Camp

The kids finished camp today and they had a week of alot of fun. Wish it could go on until school starts. We will be going off to take some pictures this weekend so I will post again this weekend. Hope everyone is taking care.

Tom's call

Tommy called yesterday, he is doing well. He sound real well. We miss him so much, March can't get here fast enough. The kids are in camp this week and it ends tomorrow. The have had a great time with it. We are staying busy glad to have the days go by so fast. Closer to Tommy that way. He will call again Sunday as long as things go well. His thumb is doing good. It's been just about three months and it seems like a year already. Just keep him in your prayers and thoughts.

Sparky

Sparky got fixed and they put a cone on his head and he looks so funny, so I had to take a picture of it. He keeps walking into things and I feel so bad but know it has to stay on for a bit. Well I just wanted to share so funny news after the Cali news, Take care.

Cali Ann 97-07

We have sad news to share we had to have Cali Ann put to sleep yesterday. She was sick and there was nothing else we could do for her. We had her for ten years and she was by far the best cat ever. We went to SC and buried her at my brothers house. We will miss her greatly and know she is much better off now. Even if it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do I know it was the right thing to do. Take Care Cali..... we love you!

Happy 4th of July

Heading out

We are heading to Jacksonville FL. tomorrow to see my sister Rebecca. My friend Irma and her daughter will be joining us. I will post on the 5Th. We are only staying for one day Irma has to work on the 5Th. We will enjoy some pool time and much needed adult communication. Hope everyone is doing well. The dog will be mad because he has to be kennel and they are going to do his fixing while he is there. If you know what I mean. The cats will be happy to get rid of the dog for a few days. :}
