We had a very nice Christmas, as always the kids got way to much but they are only young once, right? I hope all of you had as great of a Christmas as we did. We are getting use to the area and really liking it here. We'll see how Tommy does when he gets to his unit......

My sister sent us a pickle that you hide on the tree every year and the first person to find it gets to open the first present, well Hannah found it this year.

Christmas morning

She does love him.....

Jonathan got Hannah a stuff bear at the school shop, I just love the picture of them together.

We hope everyone had a great Christmas, we were so glad to have Tommy home this year. I will post some pictures soon of the kids. They were so excited. That's the best gift is to see them open the present and the look on their face. Happy New Year to all........

Snow

Today we had our first real snowy day. It snowed already but we got about four inches today. Tom even took me driving in it to make sure I remembered what I was doing. All went well. I didn't hit anything or anyone. Tommy wanted to show Jonathan how to shovel snow but he ended up doing it while they played. The kids are really enjoying it here, I'm still not sure on the weather part. :} Our friends in Savannah said it was almost 70....I miss that. But I think FT Riley will be good for us. Can you believe I called the appointment line and some one answered on the first ring and I got an appointment on Monday already....that never happen to me in Savannah. So far it seems to be good..... Well take care and we will chat with all later.

DADDY!!!!!!!!

Tommy called the kids over and dumped snow on them...... they loved it.

WOW!!!!!!

I know we asked for this but wow is it ever so cold here in Kansas. -1 with wind chill and 15 without. It is suppose to be 8 in the morning when the kids leave for school, good thing Tommy is still on leave to take them......:} We are liking it here and the kids seem to be into the swing of things. It's big, I get lost a lot on base this sure isn't Hunter. I do miss our place there but home is where you make it and we are home. I think things will be good here. There is plenty to do, even in the cold. I hope everyone is doing well and know we are thinking of them.
