New Duty Station

• Well we know that we will be going to FT. Riley Kansas within the next few months. We should start to clear mid November. We are hoping to start even earlier but we are waiting to see if the orders tell us we can. The sooner the better. We are excited about the move and looking forward to our next chapter of our life. As soon as we get a date I will let all know. We know we will make a home no matter where we go so we are just looking forward to moving. I'll try doing better at posting. Have a great weekend.

1ST Game

We had our first game on Saturday and they won 8 to 0. The kids did very well. They were so excited about the game. We play again this Saturday, hopefully it wont take me as long to post.

Update

Well this has been a weekend of bad news and good. We found out we are not going to Germany! We are not to thrilled with that but we will make the best of it. We will be staying here in Savannah which means another deployment in our future. But that is still a while away. But with that being said we can now make plans for what we want to do, school, work and where we want to live. Well we were down to just one car since Tommy left on his deployment last year so today he got me a nice treat, a new car. I very much appreciate it because I know he wanted a truck but he'll take the Equinox and I now have a Chevy Impala. It rides very nice and I love it. The next new car we get will be a truck for him, which will more then likely be when he gets back from his next deployment. I have a great husband and am grateful for him everyday. Here's a few pictures of it.

Soccer Practice

Well yesterday was the first day of the kids soccer practice and they did good. For them never playing they looked very nice out there. The coach seems pretty nice. Tommy is going to be the assistant coach. Which makes the kids happy. Not all the kids showed up yesterday for practice but they only called us the night before so some had other things they already had plans to do. We will practice on Monday's and Wednesday's. All games will be on Saturday mornings. The kids have never really wanted to play sports so we are excited they have now started to want to get into them. They had played T-Ball when they were real young and Hannah did Cheer leading when she was little (not that she is big now)and both took swim lessons so this will be nice. If you know Tommy very well you know he is a huge Soccer guy. So this should be fun. Also the first week of school has been nice so far, the kids seem to like their new school. Lots and lots of homework.......... Enjoy your weekend.

1ST Day of School

Today is the kids first day of 4TH grade. They were so excited when they got up this morning. That will change when they get homework. We got up pretty early, just trying to time things out. The bus comes 30 minutes earlier this year so we will see how that goes. Tommy and I took them to school today. We always have on the first day. They wont let us much longer I'm sure. But you know how they have to bring in so much stuff the first day. We are very excited for them with the new school. I hope this year is much better then last. But with daddy being home I'm sure it will be. Now if we could only find out when and were we are going Tommy and I will be happy about that. Another call to DA today, hopefully we will be told something good. I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Can you believe it's September already! Tommy has been home two months now, wow, why couldn't time have gone by this fast when he was gone. :}
