Fun at play.......

The kids had a blast out at Ft Riley today. They had their best friends with them, Ty and Rachael. They live down the street from us and are also brother and sister. If you see one of the four the other three are not far. I'm so glad they enjoy spending time with each other.

Today was an amazing day here at FT Riley, It was the 1st Infantry Division Review. I have never seen one like this. The kids and I thought it was awesome. I'm glad we got to be there, I've always seen things like this on TV but never been to one. They shot the Cannon's off, Had a huge reenlistment, presented the Silver Star and Purple Heart , did a Pass and Review, but the best was watching the Cavalry Charge! The kids liked that the most and so did I.
This whole week has been so much fun, we have been able to spend a lot of time with daddy, that's always extra special for the kids. They got to go to work with him and play around his office. We had a bake sale for the FRG and it was a smash. And next week is only a three day work week so hopefully we will be able to do something fun and exciting since school starts in just a little over two weeks from now.
Jonathan is doing super good on his shot's, he can now give them to himself. We are very proud of him. I just can't believe the boy giggles when he gets them. He is very special to us and we love him more and more ever day. Hannah is still enjoying being the social butterfly that she is. She is a great girl, and enjoys her friends.
